Artist Bio: Lee Hodges

God's Creation is a continual source of fascination and inspiration to me. He is the Ultimate Artist. How thankful I am for His gift of creativity which has brought me such joy and fulfillment. My goal as an artist is to create beauty and glorify God, to produce work that is artistically inventive, spiritually uplifting, and thought-provoking. Favorite activities include singing in church choir, camping, hiking, plein-air painting, and tending my garden and small backyard pond replete with water lilies, a la Monet.

Lee Hodges is the former Gallery Director of the Buenaventura Gallery, which is directly across the street from her new studio’s location at 701 E. Santa Clara St., Suite 11, at the corner of Fir and Santa Clara. Studio business hours are Tuesday and Thursday from 9 am to 4 p.m. and by appointment.

The Ventura Healing Rooms is pleased to announce that Lee Hodges has been selected as its first Artist-in-Residence at their location in downtown Ventura @ 701 E. Santa Clara St., Suite 11, at the corner of Fir and Santa Clara.
