About the Gallery
Allegory - A Fine Arts Gallery - is the showcase for Art First! Center for the Arts and its associated artists. Emphasizing predominantly, although not exclusively, traditional, representational artwork, Allegory is the premiere professional gallery in Ventura, California operated by professional artists and aimed at displaying the best that The Arts have to offer. Collectors are welcome and encouraged to come by and see our artist's work.
Artists may join the Art First! Artists Association and may participate in the regular juried themed-shows. With working studios and a school on the premises, artists may rent studio space, participate in class instruction, or just come by to visit, discuss Art, or spend some time sitting in the gallery.
